The Landing Beach is named as such because it was one of the main landing sites in Provence. Indeed, it is a commemorative site where, on August 15, 1944, 20,000 soldiers of the 36th Division of the Texas Army, along with tanks and heavy artillery, landed within ten hours. This beach, with its fascinating history, is also known as Dramont Beach.

If you wish to go to this beach from downtown Saint-Raphaël, you will need to head towards Agay. This beach has a very large parking lot with 200 spaces. There are 4 possible accesses. The beach is supervised by a lifeguard station, making swimming safe. It also has an emergency call box. It is a very popular, lively, and bustling place, especially in summer. The "Plage du Débarquement" (landing beach) is a very pleasant beach offering beach chair rentals, numerous snack bars and restaurants, as well as toilets and public showers. It's precisely the charming restaurant under the pine trees that offers the beach chair rentals. From this beach, you can see the Île d'Or, a small private island also known as the Tintin Island because it's said to have inspired Hergé, the author of "Tintin and the Black Island". This island is also classified among the 60 most beautiful sites in France. From this beach, you can reach Cap Dramont via the coastal path, which belongs to the Estérel National Forest. It's a very large pebble beach, very lively and popular throughout the year, but even more so in summer. We offer you the opportunity to rent a yacht with a skipper on board so you can spend a day at sea, enjoying a great time with your loved ones or celebrating a special event such as a wedding banquet, seminar, or birthday. You can rent the yacht with a skipper for a day starting from the landing beach; we pick you up directly from the beach and can also pick you up from any of the thirty beaches in Saint-Raphaël or the seven beaches in Fréjus, using the boat's dinghy waiting 100 meters offshore. You can also rent the yacht docked in the neighboring town of Fréjus without a skipper, just like renting an apartment. This allows you to explore the cultural richness of these seaside towns right by the water's edge. Dock rental from Fréjus is possible for a day, a week, or even a month, with a capacity of twelve berths. It's the perfect opportunity to explore the region and its beautiful beaches, all within 50 meters of the town.
