If you wish to go to this beach from downtown Saint-Raphaël, you will need to head towards Agay. This beach has a very large parking lot with 200 spaces. There are 4 possible accesses. The beach is supervised by a lifeguard station, making swimming safe. It also has an emergency call box. It is a very popular, lively, and bustling place, especially in summer. The "Plage du Débarquement" (landing beach) is a very pleasant beach offering beach chair rentals, numerous snack bars and restaurants, as well as toilets and public showers. It's precisely the charming restaurant under the pine trees that offers the beach chair rentals. From this beach, you can see the Île d'Or, a small private island also known as the Tintin Island because it's said to have inspired Hergé, the author of "Tintin and the Black Island". This island is also classified among the 60 most beautiful sites in France. From this beach, you can reach Cap Dramont via the coastal path, which belongs to the Estérel National Forest. It's a very large pebble beach, very lively and popular throughout the year, but even more so in summer.
