The Port du Dramont, also called Port du Poussaï, is a small fishing port in the Saint-Raphaël region, located in the Var. Its authenticity gives it an extraordinary charm. This port can accommodate up to 90 pleasure boats, less than 6 meters.

Located east of Saint-Raphaël, the Port of Poussaï is opposite the Île d'Or. Composed of red porphyry, this mysterious little island is one of the most beautiful symbols of the Estérel Côte d'Azur and is one of the most beautiful sites in France.

On the Île d'Or is the famous square tower built by Doctor Auguste Lutaud and completed at the beginning of the 20th century. More than 18 meters high, the sumptuous Saracen tower has inspired the world of comics and cinema. Indeed, it can be found in the famous "Black Island", the 7th edition of Hergé's adventures of Tintin as well as in the film "The Corniaud" with Louis de Funès and Bourvil, where the island makes an appearance during Ursula's night swim.

The Port of Poussaï has a basin with an area of approximately 3000m2. This marina is protected by a rock dike to the west of 80 meters long. This dike is reinforced from the inside by a concrete quay. In addition, the port has three wooden jetties of around thirty meters to accommodate boaters and their boats.

Nicknamed the "Port shelter of Poussaï", the old Port of Dramont was built between 1895 and 1909. During the Second World War, the Port of Poussaï was demolished then rebuilt in 1947. A few years later, its jetty was extended.

Between 1955 and 1960, the port experienced bad weather that caused it a lot of damage. On May 10, 1965, the fishing authority decided to undertake protective work to strengthen its jetty and also carried out a dredging operation to deepen its basin.

Since 1988, additional jetties have been built to facilitate the mooring of pleasure craft. Finally, in 1991, the jetty was once again extended and the sea wall was reinforced again.

Because it is located opposite the famous Île d'Or, the Port du Poussaï attracts more and more visitors each year. As a result, just a few meters from the port, it is possible to practice several land and water activities such as the "SwimRun" which, as its name suggests, consists of alternating running and swimming.
Furthermore, it is also possible to take part in hikes at Cap Dramont, or to go around the Île d'Or by kayak.
For the more courageous, you can climb the rock while enjoying the breathtaking panoramic views of the Île d'Or and the seaside.
